we had the same with M5 when he was two, we went up to the local school for the Guy Fawkes celebrations... he spent his whole evening with his head buried under my jacket.
on the way home, he kept excitedlt repeating, "lights in the sky!!!! lights in the sky!!!!"
i didn't think he saw any lol
